CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Other than the clouds and light sprinkles today, our weather pattern still remains relatively quiet.

We will work on clearing out the clouds by this evening as temperatures drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Partly cloudy conditions welcome us into the final day of the work week.

Enjoy the dry weather Friday.

Highs Friday afternoon will sit into the mid 60s.

Evening plans outside look to remain dry, but rain will return after midnight as our next system approaches from the west.

Our next cold front is set to pass through Northeast Ohio on Saturday sparking scattered showers across the area.

A few rumbles of thunder may be in the mix as well as colder air filters in by the second half of the weekend.

Winds will start to pick up late Saturday afternoon and remain gusty through Sunday.

Gusts could be as high as 35 mph.

Hit-or-miss lake effect showers will develop Sunday as temperatures only warm into the mid 50s.

Lake enhanced rain showers will continue through midweek as we wait for this system to clear the East Coast.
