CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Scattered showers linger into Thursday morning for areas closer to the lakeshore.

Farther inland, showers will be more hit-or-miss in nature.

Mainly cloudy conditions stick around Thursday afternoon with highs near 60.

A brief break in the activity Friday will lead to mainly dry conditions through the early evening hours, but our next chance for rain returns Friday night.

Our next cold front will move in on Saturday sparking widespread showers across Northeast Ohio.

Lake enhanced showers will linger Sunday and into next week as the winds pick up the second half of the weekend.

Winds gusting upwards of 30 MPH along with scattered rain showers will be your biggest battle weather-wise if you are headed to the Browns game Sunday.

This soggy, chilly pattern does not look to break into next week keeping rain chances around through midweek.
