Katie Wilson

Katie Wilson is a born-and-raised Clevelander who is thrilled to return back home! She grew up in Solon, Ohio before leaving for Emory University in Atlanta. Before making it back to Cleveland, Katie anchored and reported in Huntington, W.Va. as well as Youngstown, Ohio and Parkersburg, W. Va.

During her time in Huntington, Katie won "Best Anchor" in 2019 by the West Virginia Broadcast Association. She also reported on stories ranging from high-profile court cases, the drug epidemic, and multiple mass murders.

Her favorite stories are the ones that help people, whether it's getting someone's power turned back on after a storm, or getting someone's property cleaned up that has become a trash dump.

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, working out, catching up on all her Netflix shows, and cuddling with her cat, Duncan. She's also a huge foodie and loves exploring Cleveland's restaurant scene.

If you see Katie out, say hi! She loves to meet new people and is always looking for new story ideas.
