Mike comes to 19 News with decades of award-winning investigative reporting experience, including over 30 first place awards, a national Alfred I. duPont baton, local and national Edward R. Murrow awards, the IRE Certificate, Emmys and top recognition by SPJ, AP and others.

His work has changed laws, improved safety standards and impacted numerous legal decisions.

Mike is excited about moving to Cleveland where he'll be closer to his family.

Mike's work at previous stations includes KTUU in Anchorage, AK, WLOS in Asheville, NC, WFTS in Tampa and both WFTX and WBBH in Fort Myers and freelancing as an investigative reporter at WPIX in New York City and 11Alive in Atlanta. Mike is a proven talent at both short and long form reporting, documentaries and working with production companies on various social media platforms.

Mike spent most of the past three decades working in markets throughout Florida. However, he grew up along the Canadian border in Northern Vermont so he's no stranger to cold weather.

Mike's French Canadian grandparents raised their 16 children on a dairy farm, his mother was number 15. Mike enjoys canoeing, kayaking, hiking, art and writing poetry.
