Brittany Wier

Brittany Wier joined WOIO 19 News as a reporter in August of 2023.

Brittany is a native of Philadelphia (Go Birds!) and attended Millersville University in Pennsylvania.

She has always had a passion for journalism and dreamed about being a reporter and sharing other people’s stories.

Prior to joining 19 News, Brittany was a morning reporter for WSLS 10 News in Roanoke, Virginia. During her time there, she covered severe weather and tornado’s that damaged several communities, the shooting at UVA, Governor Youngkin’s election, and a number of community events.

Brittany also reported and anchored at WVNY/WFFF in Burlington, Vermont and WHVL in State College, Pennsylvania.

When she is not in the newsroom, Brittany loves hanging out with her little dog Mabel, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and spending time with her big Italian family and friends.
